Question 1

What types of wrought iron components are available for ornamental fence and gate projects?

Accepted Answer

HST supplies a comprehensive range of wrought iron components including scrolls, C-scrolls, S-scrolls, pickets, finials, rings, collars, and decorative panels. These components are designed for welding into custom ornamental iron fences, gates, railings, and architectural metalwork. All components are manufactured from mild steel and are available in standard sizes or custom dimensions for OEM projects.

Question 2

What surface finish options are available for wrought iron components?

Accepted Answer

Standard wrought iron components are supplied in black mill scale (ungalvanized) for welding and subsequent finishing by the fabricator. Powder-coated black (RAL 9005) and hot-dip galvanized options are available for components that will be installed without further welding. For decorative applications, we can supply components pre-primed for painting. Custom colors are available for OEM orders of 500 pieces or more.

Question 3

What is the minimum order quantity for wrought iron decorative components?

Accepted Answer

MOQ for standard wrought iron components ranges from 200 to 1,000 pieces depending on the component type and size. Scrolls and rings typically have lower MOQs of 200–500 pieces, while custom-designed components require a minimum of 1,000 pieces. Sample orders of 20–50 pieces are available for quality evaluation before bulk ordering.

Question 4

Can wrought iron components be customized to match specific design drawings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. HST offers full OEM and ODM services for wrought iron components. Our engineering team can produce custom scrolls, pickets, and decorative elements based on your design drawings or samples. Custom tooling is required for unique profiles, with tooling costs typically amortized over the first production run. Lead time for custom components is 30–45 days after tooling approval.

Question 5

Are wrought iron components compatible with standard welding processes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All wrought iron components from HST are manufactured from low-carbon mild steel (Q235 or equivalent) that is fully compatible with MIG, TIG, and arc welding processes. The components are designed with flat or curved contact surfaces to facilitate clean welds. For best results, grind off any mill scale or coating at the weld area before welding.

Question 6

What quality standards do your wrought iron components meet?

Accepted Answer

Our wrought iron components are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Dimensional tolerances follow GB/T standards for steel components. We conduct batch sampling for dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and material composition. SGS inspection reports are available upon request for large orders. Our products have been exported to Europe, Australia, and North America for over 20 years.
